Smart Cincy released the 100% Connected, 100% Mobile by 2021 Goals at the Smart Regions Conference on October 25th. Adding to that, the organization will release five action items in collaboration with local and regional partners using smart and connected technologies and strategies to address our most pressing needs.
At the Second Annual Smart Cincy Summit we will shine a light on the efforts from the last year, explore opportunities to use smart solutions to address our most pressing regional needs, and hear from leaders that are moving the smart cities conversation forward with morning speakers and panels followed by an awards luncheon recognizing exceptional efforts.
Smart Regions go beyond city limits. They enable smaller communities to implement Smart Cities solutions. They seamlessly connect our urban cores to our suburbs and rural areas, improving quality of life and economic opportunity for all. On October 25th we will host the first Midwest IoT Showcase bringing together government and public officials, academic and business leaders, and community members committed to the transition to the internet of things.
Innovation communities are driving forward conversations related to smart cities and the internet of things. Those conversations require collaboration among government, academic, and industry partners. On October 12th we will host a thought leadership and action summit to focus on the intersection of technology and policy so innovation doesn't continue to outpace implementation.
